Created for a purpose

“We love each other because he loved us first.” 1 John 4:19

God created us with a purpose. To love Him and to love others.

Jesus told us all the other commandments are built on these two.

Recovery is about gloryfying God in every area of our lives, and helping each other where and when we can.

Isaiah 43″7_8 says, “Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them.’” Bring out the people who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf.”

Step Twelve is about service to God and others. SERVICE is our purpose, but not until we ‘get well’ ourselves.

Recovery takes time! Don’t get ahead of yourself. Take time daily to take personal inventory and talk to God about it.
