Self-Deception
Proverbs 28:26 Anyone who trusts in himself is foolish. But a person who lives wisely is kept safe.
“I only trust myself!” “I can do it!”
Two of the most self-deceptive statements we have all said at one time or another in our lives.
We have been on this road together for a little while now and I want to ask you the question: Who do you trust?
Some of the most valuable things I have learned, implemented and shared in my recovery and life are things I have learned from other people. None of us are here by mistake. We are here because it is where we need to be and God has brought us here.
- Have you established an accountability partner yet?
- Will you do it today?
Prayer: God today I acknowledge I can’t do this alone. Show me who to trust in the process of recovery.
