Life is full of good intentions. As we grow in recovery we try new things, with good intention but the reality is they don’t always work out the way we plan. When we focus on our problems we often lose sight of the power source of our recovery. Our desires get mixed up with our capabilities. We make promises to others based of our own power, which often result in failure and bad judgement.
Change in our lives relies on us focusing on God (the power source of recovery) and living our lives as He directs not as we wish.
