“Everyone who calls, ‘Help, God!’ gets help.”

There’s no way that God will reject a good person.  You’ll pray to Him and He’ll listen; He’ll help you do what you’ve promised.  If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.  God’s strong name is our help, the same God who made heaven and earth.

When you help someone out, don’t think about how it looks. “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.  If you only help those who help you, do you expect a medal? Garden-variety sinners do that.  God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.  “Everyone who calls, ‘Help, God!’ gets help.”
