Lives of unrelenting disappointment have left us with a lot of heartbreak in our lives. Now we are in recovery and rebuilding our lives. Psalm 119:82-84 says “My eyes grow heavy watching for some sign of your promise; how long must I wait for your comfort? There’s smoke in my eyes—they burn and water, but I keep a steady gaze on the instructions you post. How long do I have to put up with all this? How long till you haul my tormentors into court?”
– When our eyes fail to see what God is doing, our faith in Him must not. His ways are not our ways, otherwise, there would be no need to call on Him to help us get well because we would be happy in our misery. None of us ever expected God to do for us what we could not do for ourselves. But He has and because He has we need to accept the break that He has given us and the opportunity to turn our lives around.
