It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. He paid with Christ’s sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb. 1 Peter 1:18-19
There was nothing pretty, or attractive about the death scene of Jesus. It was ugly, it was horrible and it was nasty. He bore our sin. It was planned. It was the fulfillment of prophecy, and to bring to pass what God intended for the achievement of our salvation. Luke 19:10 “The Son of Man came to find and restore the lost.”
we may not understand, or fully appreciate the cost to God for our recovery. Jesus died to save us from sin and ruin. He won the fight for your life on your behalf. Isn’t it time He became your One True Higher Power?
