“Use your heads as you live and work among outsiders. Don’t miss a trick. Make the most of every opportunity.” Colossians 4:5
One of the hardest things I had to grapple with in recovery is that not everyone in recovery is at the same stage as I am. Sometimes that means I have to change what I say or how I say to help other understand it.
Through the process of recovery understanding the light of Jesus truth is revealed to us. But sometimes we are unable to understand it and use it to help us mature in our faith and service to others.
Recovery is a process of continual spiritual growth. Putting into practice what we learn helps us to understand more of the truth about God, Jesus and recovery. Obedience to the truth sharpens our vision and increases our understanding of His purpose for us and for others.
Prayer: God today help me to understand why I am here and what You want me to do.
