God cares

We can’t earn access to the kingdom of heaven. It is a gift from God, given to us because of our spiritual need,

I love it when people say to me –recovery is a spiritual program. It has nothing to with God or the Bible. My response is always the same – try taking God out of the recovery process and see how far you get.

We all need God and we all need to understand:

He loves us.

He cares about us.

If we want to succeed in the recovery process, we need to learn to depend on Him.

Change in our character is not for God’s benefit it’s for ours.

Do you understand why you need to change?

Prayer: Lord teach me to depend on You and to work at changing myself.
