Doing The Hard Yards

1 Peter 2:21 Christ suffered for you. He left you an example. He expects you to follow in his steps. You too were chosen to suffer.

God transforms our suffering into success.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say we will not suffer. In John 16:33, Jesus says “In this world you will have trouble. But cheer up! I have won the battle over the world.” He also says in Luke 21:19 “If you stand firm, you will gain life.”

The process of recovery is about regaining control of our lives, through giving control to God.  We do that by learning His Word and applying it to our daily living. And by following wherever He leads us.

Recovery will never be trouble free but it will always be worth the trouble.

Matthew 24:22 If these days of trouble were left to run their course, nobody would make it. But on account of God’s chosen people, the trouble will be cut short.

God is in control of everything. He will not forget his people. This is all we need to know about the future to motivate us to live God’s will for our lives.

Prayer: Lord help me to do the hard yards to be all You want me to be and achieve
