When I call, give me answers. God, take my side! Once, in a tight place, you gave me room; Now I’m in trouble again: grace me! hear me! Lord, and show me your mercy, for I am helpless, overwhelmed, in deep distress; my problems go from bad to worse. Save me from them all! My life is a constant risk for Jesus’ sake, which makes Jesus’ life all the more evident in me. Don’t think I’m carrying around a list of personal grudges. The fact is that I’m joining in with your forgiveness, as Christ is with me, guiding me.
