Everyone Is Welcome
Every person the Father gives me eventually comes running to me. And once that person is with me, I hold on and don’t let go. John 6:37
Everyone needs recovery and everyone is welcome in Living Life Recovery.
As part of my rehab it was compulsory to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. When I finished the program and left the rehab I continued to attend A.A. At the same time, I established and was running an Alcoholics Victorious Group.
One night when I attended A.A. I shared how Jesus had changed my life and was responsible for my recovery. An elder of the A.A. group came up to me afterwards and said. “This is A.A. not church you can’t talk about Jesus here.” I don’t know if this attitude still exists in A.A. I don’t attend anymore.
