Our Father Supplies

Luke 11:3 Give us each day our daily bread.

This prayer in Luke 11 encourages us to look to God as our ‘Father’ who will supply everything we need on a daily basis to progress in recovery.

Living Life Recovery is about exploring the promises of God for yourself at your own pace.

Through my exploration of His promises I discovered the importance of ‘practicing the ‘Spiritual Principles’ of recovery as outlined in ‘God’s Word’ on a daily basis. By doing so I found the strength and freedom I needed to live a ‘productive and practical life.’

  1. Do you read the Bible?
God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus-setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. Romans 3:22
  2. What is your favorite verse?
Here is mine: Never forget the warning, “Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against him in the desert.” Hebrews 3:15
  3. How has the Bible helped you recover? Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another–showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. 2 Timothy 3:16
